• Three days in two of Gaspecoast most beautiful parks. The forillon park, with its appalache mountain chain bordering the great blue sea and the Gaspecoast Park, boasting our province's highest peaks : Mount Albert and Jacques Cartier.

Excursions (hiking) :

Four days of excursion at the heart of the appalachian Mountains, the most important ecological and geological landmark in North America. You will experience a direct contact with nature while learning the outdoor survival basics.

Indigenous culture :

Who were the first nations ?  How were they living ?  How were they using their environment ?  We will take off on a journey teaching us about a nation that once lived in perfect harmony with nature. With hands-on experiences, you will learn about their way of life and their beleifs.

Astronomy :

Each night when you look up at the sky, billions of stars shine and look down on all of us. We will learn to locate the stars in the sky, understand the origins of the milky way.

Survival :

Where am I ? Haven't I already walked this path ? It's getting darker ... I'm affraid! Don't worry, with the right tools, you can avoid these situations and we'll teach you how to walk past these problems.

Boat :

While salmons go up the river, we will let ourselves go down with the flow in crystal clear waters, looking out for new stunning sceneries. You will learn the proper techniques to operating your rows and your boat with agility, allowing strong sensations and security all at once.

Additionnal equipment needed

You will need additionnal equipment to take part in Extreem teens :

-  A large, comfortable backpack containing between 55 and 70 litres.
-  A pair of hiking shoes
-  A pair of walking sticks
-  A gourd (1 litre or more)
-  A fox40 style whistle
-  A sleeping bag (smaller and lighter is better)

Sometimes it is possible to rent equipment in specialised shops. If you do so, make sure you test the equipment before using it in a real environment setup to make sure it works fine.
