Working and living in a summer camp, first, it's for the kids. No matter the role or the task you might be doing, be it animating, administrating or doing maintenance, one must always remember that the kids are the first and the most important priority.

It's for the kids ;

The major objectives for the aspiring monitors program are aiming at some precise objectives :

• Buidling a database containing the names of well-trained individuals willing to become skilled monitors working in our summer camp, day camp, nature's classroom and many more kids animation program.

• Implementing a formation standard for aspiring monitors thus exercing quality control.

A recognition certificate will be handed to the participants from the Association des Camps du Québec. This certificate will allow you to meet the expectations a potential employer might have and is an innovative way to show your potential.

Your stay will be on the same location as the camp itself. The first part of your stay will mostly be oriented toward the young campers : who they are, how they are, their psychology. The second part will be oriented on the practical applications of what was previsouly learned during the first half of the formation. You will have to set up and then take part in group activities as an animator, also take part in excursions and collaborate in the set up of special activaties.

Morally, materially and juridically, the monitor is the adult presence to the kids.
